Kunal Mehta
President

Kunal J Mehta is the current President of the GOPIO Central New Jersey Chapter. He has been part of the GOPIO CJ chapter since 2016. As a member and now as president, he has championed several GOPIO events, including key seminars on Legal, Tax & Financial Strategies, Taking Control in a Coronavirus World, Census 2020, and the most recent Awards / Recognition Gala. As a Finance and IT professional, Kunal seeks to leverage his personal and professional skills to expand the reach of the South Asian diaspora across all field including Science, Arts, Education, Entrepreneurship to name a few.

Vijay Garg
Exec Vice President

Vijay Garg is the current Vice president of GOPIO Central Jersey chapter and has been active member of GOPIO for many years. Vijay is a Technologist, Entrepreneur and Investor. 

As an active investor in Startups, launched “PRINCETON GROWTH ACCELERATOR”. Based out of Princeton, it nurtures a Startup with Funds, Mentorship and Ecosystem.  

Actively working with various GOPIO chapters across USA. With our Media initiative "IndusTV Global", we teamed up with GOPIO-Manhattan and GOPIO-CT to support the election and celebrate the win of Indian American Legislators across USA. Working on GOPIO-Voice initiative to encourage youngsters to participate actively in Political affairs Internationally.

As a Technologist, build many successful Products for SAP, and lead many global teams. Currently enabling various ERP and CRM solutions for Fortune 500 companies, and empowering Digital Transformations.

Nishith Mehta
Vice President

Nishith Mehta is the current Vice president of GOPIO Cental Jersey chapter and has been a part of the GOPIO-CJ chapter since 2017. As a dedicated member and now Vice President, he has been heavily involved in all of the GOPIO Events - most recently being the Award/Recognitions Gala. Besides GOPIO-CJ, He is both a member and a past president for the Rotary club of Plainsboro, North and South Brunswick. His main goal is to help and serve local communities and at the same time, stay involved with the South Asian community to promote awareness about current affairs including South Asian diaspora. His company, One-Stop Office Solutions (Doculink) is the largest supplier of office equipment / IT services to the South Asian community in the tri-state area. His hobbies and passions include traveling, business networking and helping the younger generation pursue and follow their dreams.

Sudharani Kankanla
Secretary

Sudharani Kankanala currently lives in North Brunswick, NJ. She has been involved in community service for more than 20 years. She joined GOPIO CJ this year. She is involved with many other Organizations such as Rotary Club of Plainsboro, North & South Brunswick, Agraj Seva Kendra to name a few. She is also a co-advisor for North Brunswick Interact club.

Sapna Mehta
Secretary

Sapna is one of our secretaries for the GOPIO CJ Chapter. She is a recent graduate from Rutgers University in New Brunswick majoring in Health Administration and Communications. She currently works at the NYU Langone Hospital in their corporate sector. She has a strong passion for travel and fitness and enjoys volunteering during her free time. Her past leadership roles include being a Girl Scout, founding the Rotary Interact Club at North Brunswick High School, and being a part of a service sorority that emphasizes child abuse protection and prevention. She hopes to continue to be a helping hand in the South Asian community!

Dr. Tushar Patel
Past President (2018 - 2020)

Dr. Tushar Patel served as the United States Department of Justice for the   past 27 years and served as the Chief of Health Care Quality and Risk Management in Federal Bureau of Prisons headquarters in Washington DC, Dr. Tushar Patel provided his oversight to 122 Federal Bureau of Prisons, Health Care Quality and Risk Management programs including seven major Federal Medical Centers. He also served as the Program Manager for the Asian American and Pacific Islander for the agency. Besides, his Government position, Dr. Patel provides leadership and oversight to various non-profit organizations in New Jersey. He serves as the President of Indian Health Camp of NJ (IHCNJ) since 2006, and provides his vision, expertise and dedicated services to lead a team of volunteers to conduct free Health Screening and Disease Prevention and Awareness Fairs in New Jersey.

Suresh Reddy
Past President (2016 - 2018)

Suresh Reddy has been a GOPIO member since 2008. Mr. Reddy works in the Education Domain, an Entrepreneur and Technologist. He is the charter member and executive member of Local and National Community and Business organizations like American Telugu Association, The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), Rotary Club of Plainsboro, North & South Brunswick. As past president of GOPIO CJ, worked with the team and hosted many community oriented programs like Indian Independence Day celebrations, sessions on various NRI related topics and Community Recognition Awards - a unique event of CJ chapter. Mr. Reddy is an avid golfer and a startup enthusiast.
